Breaking Ground On New Recycling Plant For Sutter Metals
Merit Construction plans on breaking ground on a new 30,000 square foot recycling plant for Chad Sutter of Sutter Metals, LLC in Tacoma, Washington in late September 2019. The Butler Manufacturing pre-engineered metal building will have 27,000 square feet of plant area and 3,000 square feet of covered roof and sits on a 3.18-acre site on South Burlington Way. Other project amenities include a 2-story wood framed office area, truck scale and scale house, loading dock, auto processing structure and auto storage and crushing area.
Sutter will be recycling all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals along with automobiles and motorhomes. Sutter will serve both the commercial industry and the general public. The site will be completely paved, have code required storm water drainage system and be fully fenced. Over 700 lineal of new city sidewalks will be installed along South Burlington Way.
