Merit Construction worked with TCF Architecture and Auto Warehousing Company to remodel 9,500 SF of an existing office space. In order to minimize interruption of operations in an occupied space, the project was completed in a three-phase process so AWC could re-organize their staff areas. An existing wall was demolished and a new, full-height wall was constructed after-hours with careful coordination of subcontractors and the client. The lighting was completely upgraded to LED, and new doors, ceiling tiles, sound insulation, HVAC systems, paint and flooring was added to the space. The newest technologies were made available to the client through upgrades to the electrical and communications infrastructure. The end result is a refined, modern look that includes natural wood, stainless steel and other elements, creating a refreshed space that is both modern and simple.
