Merit Construction teamed with BCRA to provide pre-construction and construction services for this 41,000 SF renovation and expansion of the sanctuary and fellowship hall. Improvements to pre-school classrooms and offices took place while the pre-school held daily classes and the church held Sunday services in the school gym. The sanctuary expansion involved the installation of two new 80 foot long steel beams which replaced the existing wood support columns to provide a very open area with almost twice the seating capacity. Merit salvaged portions of the building columns and a valued sequoia tree to make into new furniture and an altar.

We are extremely pleased with the final product. In fact, it has turned out much better than we had dreamed. Merit Construction’s management has worked with us throughout every phase of the project and has been extremely supportive.
