This new single story wood framed building was 5,500 SF and constructed on the same site of the current branch while the current branch was open for full service. A phasing plan was developed to allow the branch customers safe access during construction operations. This plan was created and refined through the input of the credit union staff and branch manager. Special care was given to providing a safe site and access for the credit union staff and membership. The structure is comprised of concrete slab on grade with wood frame walls and wood trusses supported by glue laminated beams. Rigid roof insulation was installed under a standing seam metal roof system. The electrical service and energy efficient lighting and controls were installed to maximize energy conservation. Special systems for communications and security were installed and tested to comply with banking industry requirements. Mechanical work included high efficiency HVAC equipment and controls for proper heating and ventilation. Many LEED processes, materials and techniques were used during the construction of this building.
