Challenge Accepted Re-Cap

As you may have seen on our social media, July was busy with our most recent campaign, "Challenge Accepted." We were so lucky to be joined by organizations within our community for this including The Boys and Girls Club, Olive Crest, and TCF Architecture. The purpose of this campaign was to flip the switch on challenges. To see obstacles as opportunities for growth, and face them with a #ChallengeAccepted mindset.

We provided posters for everyone, as well as sticky notes to attach challenges they've faced to the poster. This was a visual representation of all we have overcome, and all we have to look forward too. We had several guests throughout the campaign, on our Merit Matters podcast, to discuss challenges in their industries, and what they've implemented to overcome them.

This idea came to us from our very own Matt Wyble, a Superintendent at Merit. After closing out this campaign we wanted to honor Matt in sharing his podcast interview. Being part of a team that brings ideas to the table is more than we could ask for, and it was amazing to see Matt's #ChallengeAccepted idea take shape and be a beacon of light in the community.

Check out our latest podcast episode featuring Matt Wyble. Listen in to hear how he's personally overcome challenges, including going from not even knowing how to swing a hammer, to becoming a seasoned Carpenter. Matt talks about building buildings, but more importantly how he is continually building himself.
