Merit Construction is excited to welcome Ejay O’Donnell as their new Business Development Manager. O’Donnell comes to Merit with more than 15 years of experience as an executive in the manufacturing industry. He is extremely passionate about serving our clients and the community, by building authentic long term relationships. His mission is to partner with the client and deliver the best experience from concept to completion. His positive, energetic, and compassionate attitude brings synergy to every project!

What he enjoys most about working at Merit thus far is the depth of care each person has for each other, the projects, and the outcome. “Everyone is very passionate about the work they do, how they treat others and ensuring to give their best in everything we do,” says O’Donnell.

Besides being passionate about building relationships at work and in the community, O’Donnell takes much interest in taking care of his health and family. He believes in continually striving to better himself and lives by the affirmation “the only person I should try to be better than, is the person I was yesterday.” His wife and two daughters are his biggest inspiration and bring so much happiness and joy to his heart, “seeing their smiling faces, continuously fuels my tank,” he says. O'Donnell loves starting his day with a 3 mile run, cup of coffee, and breakfast with his family. He is currently trying to make it a habit to run 100 miles a month (averaging about 55 miles a month right now). In his leisure time, you can find him with his family, running/exercising, near the water, working on his yard, or doing graphic design.
