St. Catherine of Siena
Merit Construction worked with the owner and architect to construct a new multi-use gymnasium building for St. Catherine of Siena Parish. The 11,500 SF building was constructed around the existing school building and church. Both the parish and the school remained open while construction was underway. Merit integrated the school and church activities into a sequence plan so construction processes would not conflict with scheduled events. Special provisions were taken to coordinate the work while providing student and visitor safety.
