St. Charles Borromeo Church
Merit Construction provided pre-construction services with the church building committee and architect to achieve a flexible new space for the Parish and school. The design team was challenged to provide utility space for a variety of current users while including a long term design and strategy for future expansion and possible use change. The new construction was for a multi-use space for groups to gather for music performances and small weddings and also included classrooms, storage space, workshop and mechanical rooms. The Unity Center was constructed in and around existing church and school buildings as both were being used during construction activities.
